What is a structure? Are structures necessary in an organization?
The structure means different groups work for a particular aim in an organization. Creating an Organigram, accountability, decision-making, communication will be part of the structure. The function which has among these groups or structures will be related to these four things. Organigram means the way in which different structures of the organization connect and work with each other.
Here we can understand that the structure of the organization is what works and maintain the organization. It always connects with the culture of the organization. Structures will create and expand according to the aims of the school. Especially this is more see in the private schools than government. Structures and different groups in a particular organization is necessary. Because the work will be broken down and it will help to the better organization. There is a chance to avoid autocratic rule. Act on interest. there will be constrained in a work.
Whether the butterfly effect applied to the organization or its structure or not the effect will be happened automatically in the context of that structure. according to the theory, each and every event of the world and the universal changes are being happened by the process of the butterfly effect. And it is the vital and thinkable process for the development of changes and impact.
B) b. What is “chaos” in the context of structural change in organizations? Is this a necessary step in the structural change process? Give reasons.
The chaos theory in the structure of an organization refers to the revolutionary change of a process whereby the reason is very poor.” Butterfly effect” or chaos theory is explained in the contexts of every aspect of the world.it occurs in the entire life of human beings especially in their daily life with knowledge or without.
Here it is applicable in the school structural organization for the development and the quick uptrend changes of students life. The organization of a school is structured into different parts. Management, Administrators, Teachers, Parents, Students, etc. each and every part of the school system is required to make a sizeable role in the process of changes.
Thus the chaos effect or theory shows the projected method of changes in every context of changes. So the small reason can make a clear effect on the school as well as in the organization.
However, it is a scientific theory describing the unpredictability of systems. Henry Poincare the french mathematician suggested the theory in the 1980s.

2. What kind of resistance (from teachers and community) do you foresee in your new structure? What according to you could be the reasons for the resistance?
The structure which I mentioned above is clearly seen as a bond with a bureaucratic structure. There are strong structures to control over all the school like founding directors and management. There separate positions for the teachers as well. We were decided to create a democratic school. But there so difficult in a school like this to maintain and run the school in this manner. There is a need to report all things which teachers do in the school to the authorities. All powers would be in the hand of the principal. If the principal does not control the teachers in the proper manner, that will be so difficult for teachers.
We can understand that teachers should be more freedom and autonomy in democratic school. For example, teachers should have the autonomy to choose the syllabus and pedagogy. If authority would not allow this autonomy to teachers that will be more distract and pressure to the teachers and teachers would strat resist it. Another resistance might be in the structure from the teacher part, there are specific teachers for every subject. When one school decide one particular teacher to be accountable for a subject, all teachers would have forced to follow guideline which decided by the subject coordinators. There is no more chance for the teacher to implement his own perspective and idea in the classroom and pedagogy. There might be this kind of problem.
There should be equal involvement of every stacked old in the school which organize in a democratic manner. How is it possible if we take the community as a stakeholder? We all know how participation has to allow in the community in a school. It is very difficult to run a school by agreeing on all kinds of perspectives from the community and parents. If the school doesn’t allow them enough participation and freedom there might be something wrong with the school vision. Different peoples from the community would have a different opinion on the school organizing. It seems most difficult resistance in the involvement of the community in the school organizing process.
b. How do you propose to overcome this resistance – talk about the smaller steps that could be taken so that teachers and the community will find doing them “gratifying”? Here I would like to give some proposal to overcome the resistance which mentioned above to gratify the teachers and community. It is one of the solutions in the teacher’s resistance that school should create special federation for teachers and include under the school structure. School authority should give autonomy to that federation to discuss and make a decision in the academic matter. Authority should have considered every teacher’s opinion, if it is not possible, the school authority has a responsibility to convince the teachers.
The principal should more care in controlling the school. Teachers would not feel distracted under the service of the principal. The principal should be a facilitator than giving the guidelines. And he should give autonomy to teachers in the problem solving and taking the decision. It is very difficult to involve all community members in all processes related to school organization. Here the good way to do for the school authority is to make a division for community and authorities. The school authority has to create some boundaries for the community and create more space for the community in some particular area. School should give some role in the decision making related that specific matter which mentioned above. Participation of the teachers is very important in the school and it would be Succes only by the intervening of the principal.
